About the Role

We are looking for a driven and technically versatile Product & Maintenance Engineer to play a pivotal role across our drone operations and product lifecycle. In this role, you will keep our fleet mission-ready through hands-on maintenance and expert troubleshooting, while also contributing to product development by analysing market trends, gathering user insights, and ensuring every new release meets quality and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and technical operations

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot drone issues on-site and remotely.

    • Inspect, repair, and maintain drones to ensure safety and performance.

    • Conduct hardware and software testing; produce clear technical reports.

    • Create and maintain SOPs, technical documents, and training manuals.

    • Mentor technicians and supervisors on standards and best practices.

    • Deliver technical and safety training, supporting the Drone Academy.

    • Serve as the coordination bridge between HQ, branches, and suppliers.

  • Product development and quality control

    • Conduct market and cost analysis to surface trends, gaps, and opportunities.

    • Stay current on industry products and contribute commercial insight to development.

    • Collect and translate user feedback into actionable briefs for the product team.

    • Ensure new products are market-aligned and financially viable.

    • Work with the internal testing team to define appropriate testing methods.

    • Build quality control checklists and processes for production releases.

    • Identify process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechatronics, aviation, or related field.

  • 3–5 years' experience in drone/UAV maintenance or product engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of drone systems, electronics, and mechanics.

  • Skilled at troubleshooting complex technical issues.

  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability.

  • Experience mentoring or leading technical teams is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Comfortable with field and workshop work, including travel.
