Job Description

Make Canva feel unmistakably Vietnamese.

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hey, xin chĂ o! đź‘‹

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be time consuming — so we’ll get straight to the point.

Canva is on a mission to empower the world to design. And in Vietnam, that mission is just getting started in a big way. We’re looking for a strategic, culturally fluent leader to help make Canva not just available in Vietnam — but truly Vietnamese.

Where and how you can work

This role is based in Ho Chi Minh City, with hybrid working arrangements. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role:

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This role sits within our International Growth Marketing team and plays a critical part in accelerating Canva’s growth in Vietnam.

You won’t just localise words. You’ll shape product experiences, influence roadmap decisions, and ensure Canva resonates deeply with Vietnamese users — from students and creators to small businesses and enterprise teams.

You’ll be the voice of Vietnam inside Canva.

Why this role is special

  • This isn’t a traditional localisation role.
  • You’ll shape strategy.
  • You’ll influence product direction.
  • You’ll help accelerate Vietnam’s creative economy

And you’ll do it at one of the world’s fastest-growing technology companies.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Owning Canva’s product and localisation strategy for Vietnam, ensuring every experience feels culturally relevant and locally intuitive
  • Partnering with Product, Growth, Payments and Authentication teams to influence the Vietnam product roadmap (features, payment methods, onboarding, subscription flows)
  • Analysing user and subscription funnels to identify growth opportunities and unlock new value for Vietnamese users
  • Adapting global campaigns, messaging, and in-product experiences to resonate authentically in the Vietnamese market
  • Working closely with linguists and the Vietnamese Language Manager to evolve tone of voice, language quality and localisation best practices
  • Providing deep cultural insight to global teams to help Canva win hearts — not just downloads — in Vietnam

You’re probably a match if:

  • You have extensive experience across product, localisation, or growth marketing in a high-growth SaaS or product-led company
  • You deeply understand Vietnam’s digital ecosystem, user behaviour, and cultural nuances
  • You’re highly analytical and comfortable working with funnel metrics, subscription data, and experimentation
  • You can influence cross-functional stakeholders across product, marketing, content, and regional teams
  • You’re fluent in Vietnamese and English, and can flex seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • You’re excited about building something meaningful and long-term in Vietnam’s creative economy

About the team

Canva’s International team is responsible for driving growth and deepening adoption across key regions worldwide. We’re entrepreneurial, cross-functional, and bold in how we think about expansion.

In Vietnam, we see enormous potential — millions of creators, a thriving digital economy, and a generation ready to design, build, and share at scale. This role plays a foundational part in shaping Canva’s future in the country and helping position Vietnam as a regional creative hub.

What’s in it for you?

Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard — and we do — but you’ll experience lots of moments of magic, connection and fun along the way.

Here’s a taste of what’s on offer:

  • Annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing and growth

About Canva

We're a global online visual communications platform on a mission to empower the world to design. Featuring a simple drag-and-drop user interface and a vast range of templates ranging from presentations, documents, websites, social media graphics, posters, apparel to videos, plus a huge library of fonts, stock photography, illustrations, video footage, and audio clips, anyone can take an idea and create something beautiful on Canva on any device, from anywhere in the world.

Since our launch in 2013, we’ve had the crazy big goal of making design accessible to everyone. We were founded on the belief that people shouldn't need to understand complex software to unlock their creativity. We’re leveling the playing field and democratizing access to design and visual communication by empowering 100% of the world to communicate in a way that was once limited to the 1%.

We've always had a deeper mission surrounding Canva — which we talk about as our 'simple' two-step plan: to build one of the world’s most valuable companies, and to do the most good we possibly can. We're committed to our core value of Being a Force for Good, so as the value of our company grows, so too does our ability to have a positive impact on the world.
