Role Overview

The Product Manager, Retail & Manufacturer Solutions is responsible for the successful design, implementation, adoption, and ongoing support of Circana products and solutions across retailer and manufacturer clients. This role serves as the bridge between client needs, data solutions, and product innovation, ensuring the delivery of impactful reporting capabilities, custom hierarchies, product enhancements, and client enablement initiatives.

The role combines product management, solution deployment, analytics, and client-facing consulting to drive adoption, enhance user experience, and support business growth. The Product Manager will partner closely with clients, commercial teams, data operations, analytics, and technology teams to ensure solutions are effectively developed, launched, and supported.

Job Responsibilities

Product Development & Enhancement (30%)

• Gather and prioritize client requirements from retailer and manufacturer stakeholders.
• Drive product enhancements and solution development based on market needs and client feedback.
• Collaborate with technology, analytics, and operations teams to design and implement new product functionality.
• Support the product lifecycle from concept through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.

Report Development & Analytics Solutions (25%)

• Design, build, validate, and maintain standard and custom client reports.
• Develop reporting solutions that meet business objectives and support strategic decision-making.
• Translate complex business requirements into meaningful reporting outputs and visualizations.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality within reporting solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and reporting efficiencies.

Custom Hierarchy Design & Data Configuration (15%)

• Build and maintain custom retailer and manufacturer hierarchies within Circana platforms.
• Partner with clients to understand organizational structures, categories, and reporting requirements.
• Validate hierarchy mappings and conduct quality assurance testing.
• Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of client-specific data structures.

Client Training, Adoption & Support (15%)

• Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and client training programs.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and best practice documentation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them maximize value from Circana solutions.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and product support for complex client issues.
• Drive product adoption and encourage utilization of existing and new functionality.

Product Deployment & Client Implementation (15%)

• Lead product deployments and solution implementations across retailer and manufacturer clients.
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and implementation readiness activities.
• Ensure successful transition from implementation to business-as-usual support.
• Track deployment success metrics and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.

Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Client Solutions, Analytics, Category Management, Retail Insights, or SaaS platforms.
• Experience working with retailer and manufacturer data solutions.
• Proven experience building reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Experience delivering client-facing training and support.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and product deployments.
• Experience working in a fast-paced client-service environment.

Preferred

• Experience with Circana, NielsenIQ, Dunnhumby, Kantar, or related retail analytics platforms.
• Strong knowledge of FMCG, Retail Measurement Services, Consumer Insights, or Category Management.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
