About the role
The Product Analyst is a foundational role that supports Product Managers and Product Leads through analysis, documentation, discovery support, delivery coordination, stakeholder follow-up, and product performance tracking.
This role is designed for someone developing their Product craft and looking to build strong foundations across customer understanding, data analysis, commercial thinking, product delivery, stakeholder collaboration, risk awareness and documentation quality.
The Product Analyst for Policy (AI) helps create clarity for cross-functional teams by gathering evidence, organising information, documenting requirements, supporting discovery activities, preparing product artefacts, and helping teams make better-informed decisions. The role works closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance and other business stakeholders.
This role is not expected to independently own a product strategy, roadmap, squad outcome or major stakeholder relationship. Instead, success is demonstrated through reliable execution, structured thinking, strong attention to detail, clear communication, curiosity, and the ability to support Product teams in delivering customer and business value.
- Support Product Associates, Product Managers and Product Leads with analysis, documentation, discovery, delivery coordination and stakeholder follow-up across clearly defined product initiatives.
- Gather, organise and synthesise customer, stakeholder, business, operational and product inputs to help teams understand problems, opportunities, assumptions, risks and dependencies.
- Attend customer and user interviews where appropriate, taking clear notes and capturing observations, quotes, pain points, open questions and follow-up actions.
- Help identify recurring themes from customer feedback, support tickets, stakeholder input, analytics, research sessions and operational insights.
- Assist with translating customer and business requirements into draft Epics, User Stories and acceptance criteria, with review and guidance from a Product Associate, Product Manager or Business Analyst.
- Support solution design by keeping requirements and supporting documentation clear, structured and up to date as changes are made.
- Help document solution options, user flows, process flows, business rules, assumptions, dependencies, edge cases, open questions and decision history.
- Develop an understanding of the DVF framework and support the Product Associate / Product Manager by gathering inputs and documenting desirability, viability and feasibility considerations for review.
- Assist with backlog hygiene by updating tickets, documenting acceptance criteria, tracking actions, clarifying requirements and surfacing blockers or ambiguity early.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and help maintain delivery hygiene through notes, action tracking, documentation, follow-ups and clear communication of progress.
- Support product launches by helping prepare release notes, FAQs, stakeholder updates, enablement material, UAT support, issue triage and post-release feedback capture.
- Use available data and insights to support product stories, recommendations and decisions, escalating where analysis is incomplete, uncertain or requires specialist input.
- Develop understanding of Lendi Group’s products, customers, business model, commercial drivers, regulatory environment and operational context.
- Identify and raise known risks, blockers, incidents, dependencies or compliance concerns as they arise, and support documentation of mitigation actions.
- Communicate clearly on assigned work, progress, blockers and questions, producing structured notes, summaries, analysis and documentation for team and stakeholder consumption.
- Build effective relationships with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Business Analysis, QA, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Commercial and other business stakeholders.
- Manage operations of the policy AI products supporting incidents, regular product updates and feedback from users

- Business Analysis

- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear notes, requirements, summaries, process documentation, stakeholder updates and product artefacts.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to organising information, tracking actions and maintaining documentation.
- Curiosity about customer problems, user behaviour, business outcomes and how technology can improve experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Business Analysis, QA and business stakeholders.
- Developing understanding of agile ways of working, including discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery, release and post-release review.
- Comfort working with data, dashboards, spreadsheets, feedback sources or other analytical inputs to support product decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow through on commitments and escalate blockers or ambiguity early.
- Willingness to learn, seek feedback and build Product craft through hands-on experience, coaching and exposure to product delivery.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, analytics platforms, spreadsheets or AI tools would be advantageous.
- Experience in home loans, financial services, property, broking, lending, digital platforms or regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
