Job Description

Req ID: 27-0493

Come join our passionate team! Barracuda is a leading global cybersecurity company delivering complete resilience made easy to buy, deploy and use through a partner-first model. Our intelligent BarracudaONE™ platform provides cyber resilience across email, data, applications, networks, and managed XDR within an open ecosystem. Trusted by hundreds of thousands of organizations and partners worldwide, Barracuda delivers industry-leading solutions and support, powered by people and enhanced by AI, for all size business.

We know a diverse workforce adds to our collective value and strength as an organization. Barracuda Networks is proud to be an employer that complies with all applicable national, state and local laws pertaining to nondiscrimination and equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.

Envision Yourself at Barracuda:

Help turn customer needs into useful email-security capabilities. As a Product Analyst, you will own a clearly bounded feature or administrator workflow, working directly with engineering and a senior product manager from discovery through delivery and measurement. The role combines hands-on product decisions, customer exposure and structured mentorship, with opportunities to develop toward broader product responsibility.

What You’ll be Working on:

Investigate customer and administrator needs through interviews, support feedback, usage data and market or competitor research. Translate findings into a clear problem statement and practical options for an assigned feature. Explore how phishing, malware and everyday email-management challenges affect the people using the product.

Define user stories and testable acceptance criteria with senior PM guidance. Partner with engineering and design to evaluate feasibility, refine the backlog and recommend priorities within the agreed scope. Own requirements clarity and follow-through, resolve straightforward product questions collaboratively, and escalate security-sensitive or higher-complexity decisions.

Track feature milestones, dependencies and delivery risks against the agreed roadmap. Support validation and release readiness, prepare internal product briefings or training, and gather customer feedback after launch. Agree relevant indicators with your mentor, analyse adoption and workflow outcomes, and propose evidence-based improvements.

You are accountable for the quality and outcomes of your assigned feature or workflow, not only meeting coordination. A senior product manager retains portfolio strategy, overall roadmap ownership and major prioritisation decisions. You will contribute research and recommendations to those decisions and may support a broader strategic initiative under their direction.

What you Bring to the Role:

· A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; and 2–5 years of experience in product management, project management, software engineering or a comparable role.

· Adjacent experience is welcome when it demonstrates customer problem-solving and delivery of software outcomes.

· Working knowledge of agile delivery and cybersecurity fundamentals, together with the ability to interpret customer feedback and product data.

· You can communicate requirements clearly, discuss trade-offs with technical colleagues, collaborate across functions and adapt as evidence or priorities change.

·Preferred, not required: familiarity with email administration, Microsoft 365, phishing and malware protection, and basic email authentication concepts such as SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Product-management certification, including CPM, is also welcome.

· Deep email-security expertise is not expected at entry to this role.

How you will grow and succeed:

Regular senior PM coaching, engineering partnership and customer conversations will help you strengthen discovery, prioritisation and analytical judgement. You will collaborate with colleagues across locations on shared product goals. Success means well-defined requirements, transparent delivery risks, useful customer insights and measurable improvement in your assigned area, with progressively greater independence as your skills develop.

What you’ll get from us:

A team where you can voice your opinion, make an impact, and where you and your experience are valued. Internal mobility – there are opportunities for cross training and the ability to attain your next career step within Barracuda. In addition, you will receive equity, in the form of non-qualifying options.
