We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Analyst to support our ePrescribing team. This is a hands-on execution role that will handle the day-to-day operational aspects of product development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at process management, and has a passion for healthcare technology. This role is critical to ensuring smooth product delivery and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

What you will work on

Requirements Management & Documentation

  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements based on product manager guidance
  • Maintain and organize the product backlog, ensuring all requirements are clearly documented and prioritized
  • Create and update product documentation including feature specifications, user guides, and process documentation
  • Collaborate with UX team to ensure requirements align with design specifications

Backlog Grooming & Sprint Management

  • Facilitate backlog grooming sessions with engineering teams to refine user stories and estimate effort
  • Break down large features into manageable development tasks and ensure proper story sizing
  • Coordinate sprint planning activities and ensure development teams have clear, actionable requirements
  • Track and report on sprint progress, identifying blockers and ensuring timely resolution

Bug Triage & Issue Management

  • Triage incoming bug reports and feature requests, categorizing by severity and impact
  • Work with QA team to reproduce issues and document detailed bug reports
  • Prioritize bug fixes based on customer impact and business priorities
  • Maintain issue tracking systems and ensure proper workflow management

Release Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate release planning activities across development, QA, and operations teams
  • Manage release documentation including release notes, deployment guides, and rollback procedures
  • Track feature delivery against release timelines and communicate status to stakeholders
  • Support post-release activities including monitoring and issue resolution

Support Team Collaboration

  • Serve as liaison between product team and customer support, providing technical guidance on product features
  • Analyze support tickets to identify product improvement opportunities and recurring issues
  • Create and maintain support documentation and troubleshooting guides
  • Escalate critical customer issues to appropriate development teams

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Generate regular reports on product metrics, release progress, and team performance
  • Analyze user feedback and support data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders
  • Support A/B testing and feature validation activities

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or similar role
  • Experience with ePrescribing systems, electronic health records, healthcare technology, or pharmacy systems preferred
  • Familiarity with NCPDP SCRIPT Standard, and claims adjudication processes highly desired
  • Previous experience with agile development methodologies and tools

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira etc...)
  • Experience with documentation tools (Confluence etc...)
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing processes
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and cloud-based development workflows preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare ePrescribing and interoperability standards (NCPDP SCRIPT, HL7, FHIR) preferred
  • Understanding of pharmacy claims processing and adjudication workflows

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and break them into actionable tasks
  • Experience with data analysis and creating meaningful reports
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify root causes

Communication:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience facilitating meetings and presenting to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

Physical Requirements

  • 90% Desk work
  • 10% Remote meetings with internal teams and occasional customer calls

  • Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $80,000 - $90,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
