About the location

The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur office, conveniently located in the heart of the city with easy access to public transportation..

Expectations of the role

Able to commit to working night shifts (on rotation basis) & during Malaysia Public Holidays with the following schedule options:

Normal hours: 9am - 6pm

Shift hours 1: 10pm - 7am

Shift hours 2: 3am - 7am (First Shift) / 1pm - 5pm (2nd Shift)

What you will be doing

  • Proactively attend to customer order request and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure continuous communication with Customer Service, Supply Team, Business Process Managers, and other Stakeholders.
  • Supporting set-up of new business ventures.
  • Resolve order related issues in collaboration with Customers, Supply team, and Business Process Managers.
  • Handling product registration.
  • CO (Customer Order) and PO issuance in multiple systems.
  • Providing accurate and timely delivery instructions to Operations.
  • Regular communication with Local Supply team with necessary information concerning delivery status of orders i.e., charges, availability etc.
  • Provide complete and updated information to warehouse concerning time and place of delivery from Supplier(s).
  • Maintain required control reports and documentation.
  • Ensure product offers to customer request are within the agreed scope and guidelines and if uncertain to seek consultation with Product Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for correct document flow, reporting and tracking timely deliveries.
  • Any other responsibility put forward that are not covered by this FD (within reasonable limits)

What experiences and skills are required

  • Candidate should possess a bachelor's degree preferably in Logistics Management or Operations Management.
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience with supply chain/logistic however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in English - both writing and speaking.
  • Required skill(s): Computer Literate (Good in MS Office)
  • Able to prioritize, customer oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good planning and organizing skills.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and meticulous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, positive attitude and a good team player.
  • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
  • Desire to succeed in a challenging environment and able to work under pressure.
  • Pleasant character, resourceful & able to work with sincerity on own initiative.
