Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to join the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) Quality Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift

Position Responsibilities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements

  • Provides objective evidence of results

  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring

  • Identifies and documents discrepancies

  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items

  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance

  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification

  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

  • 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

  • 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing

  • Must be able to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results

  • 787 Program Experience

  • Experience in a team environment

  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
