
Newstalk ZB is looking for a Lifestyle Radio Producer to help steer our Weekend Collective programme.
This fixed term, part‑time, maternity leave position will see you at the helm of producing entertaining radio covering everything from politics, finance, health, parenting, property and much more every Saturday and Sunday afternoon
What do you need?
You’ll bring top‑notch organisational skills, a strong understanding of news and current events, a good political brain, a knack for knowing what people are talking about, and excellent contacts.
You’ll need to be comfortable taking direction, while also having the confidence to back your own decisions when it comes to talent, contributors and content.

Production experience isn’t essential, but a great attitude is. You will need a background in journalism, and preferably some broadcasting experience.
