Job Description

Location: Cambridge, UK - This position can accommodate flexible working options. However, candidates must be based (or be willing to relocate) within a comfortable commuting distance of our Cambridge office to be able to attend onsite as required.

This is a 22-month fixed term contract.

Are you an experienced games producer who enjoys shaping evolving projects and bringing clarity and structure to the way teams work?

As a Producer on our RuneScape: Dragonwilds team, you’ll drive delivery across key areas of development - ensuring features, systems, and content align with roadmap goals, quality expectations, and release targets. You’ll operate across multidisciplinary teams, coordinating across gameplay, systems, and world content to support a scalable, evolving player experience.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role within a large, interconnected project, where you’ll manage priorities, mitigate risks, and maintain clarity across a complex production environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own delivery across key areas of the project, ensuring alignment with roadmap milestones, Early Access goals, and release targets.
  • Work with Directors, Leads, and Production to define scope, priorities, and delivery plans across gameplay systems, world features, and content updates.
  • Track development progress across multiple teams, providing clear reporting on status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Identify and manage delivery risks across interconnected systems, defining mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
  • Coordinate across disciplines to manage dependencies between gameplay, AI, environment, and progression systems.
  • Drive improvements to production processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and workflow optimisation within a live development environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record as a Producer within game development, ideally on open-world, survival, or systems-driven titles.
  • Strong understanding of full lifecycle game development, particularly within large-scale or multiplayer environments.
  • Working knowledge of Agile or hybrid development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as JIRA, Miro, or similar systems.
  • Ability to manage delivery across complex, interconnected systems and multi-team dependencies.
  • Background working on live or evolving products with frequent updates or Early Access development.

What we offer:

When you join Jagex you can look forward to a generous Perks & Benefits package including:

  • Private Healthcare, including Dental Plan.
  • Discretionary annual performance bonus.
  • Minimum 6% Pension contributions.
  • Life Insurance.
  • Enhanced family leave policies from day 1.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays & the option to buy/sell holidays + so much more!
