Producer / Project Co-ordinator

Work on animated video projects for major global brands | Somerset East, Eastern Cape | R18,000 – R28,000 per month

About Our Client

Our client is a creative production company specialising in animated video content for international brands. They work with global clients while operating from an in-house studio environment in Somerset East. The business offers hands-on training and exposure to end-to-end production coordination in a creative setting.

The Role: Producer / Project Co-ordinator

This role exists to coordinate animated video projects from briefing through to delivery. The Producer / Project Co-ordinator ensures projects run on schedule, stay within budget, and meet creative requirements while working closely with both international clients and local creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

• 0–3 years of experience coordinating projects or managing tasks in a structured environment

• Coordinate animated video production for international clients

• Liaise with scriptwriters, animators, and voice-over artists to manage workflows

• Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets

• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure expectations and requirements are met

• Manage a 40-hour work week, typically from 10am to 7pm with an extended lunch break

• Attend occasional evening calls with US-based clients, which can be done from home

About You

• 0–3 years of professional experience

• University degree in any field

• Highly organised with strong time-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Confident using computers and standard productivity tools

• Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Open to relocating to Somerset East and working in-house

Additional Information

Relocation support includes covered flight costs, payment of the security deposit and first months rent, assistance in finding accommodation, and retention of the security deposit upon eventually leaving the role. Somerset East offers a quiet, green environment known for historic architecture and outdoor activities such as hiking and fly-fishing.
