Job Description

Who We Are:

Spawnpoint Media is at the forefront of digital entertainment, spearheading innovation in content creation across YouTube channels and media brands within the realms of gaming, Minecraft, and live action content. With a passionate community of over 25 million followers, we've amassed more than 9 billion views globally. We strive to maintain the soul, love, joy, and personality of youth in our content and are committed to our mission of leaving a lasting impact on families across the globe.

Who We Are Looking For:

You’re a highly organised and proactive creative thinker who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, production, and performance data. You bring a strong sense of ownership to every stage of the content pipeline, from ideation through to post-production, balancing creativity with structure and deadlines.

You’re comfortable generating fresh, engaging ideas each week while also grounding your decisions in analytics and proven formats. Collaboration comes naturally to you: you communicate clearly across teams, support creative leads and actors, and keep projects moving by anticipating needs and solving problems early. Detail-oriented and dependable, you manage multiple workflows without losing sight of quality or timelines. You’re also self-aware and growth-driven, regularly reflecting on your performance, tracking progress, and looking for ways to improve both personally and as part of the wider team.

Responsibilities:

Content Ideation:

  • Generate 4–5 ideas weekly that align with the channel’s strategy, including both proven content “buckets” and experimental, viral-style concepts.

  • Support ideas with data (Canva docs, performance insights) and thumbnail ideation for the packaging team.

Pre-Production Management:

  • Upload approved ideas into the production tracker and communicate with Head Of Production for upload to our CRM along with any additional needs (body actors, Minecraft versions, or game purchases).

Creative Coordination:

  • Oversee Creative Leads to ensure script deadlines are met.

  • Review scripts for strong storylines and production readiness.

  • Liaise with the sets department to align on timing and resolve questions along with the Creative Leads.

Production Oversight:

  • Support actors on filming days, ensuring they have everything needed to get recording. This includes making sure that you and the Creative Leads sit in on at least 1-2 recordings each week.

  • Regularly address production issues such as set or body acting delays.

Post-Production:

  • Manage editing deadlines and ensure timely feedback from Creative Leads.

Analytics & Feedback:

  • Review video performance weekly and gather feedback from creative writing and sets departments.

  • Provide actionable insights to actors and teams for continuous improvement.

Team Support

  • Liaise with teams to coordinate meetings, and ensure everyone has the resources they need.

  • Assist with optimisation of team schedules and workflows.

  • Monitor the wellbeing of the actors

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in content ideation, production coordination, or a similar role within gaming or digital media (Minecraft/Roblox experience highly regarded)

  • Strong understanding of YouTube content strategy, including retention, thumbnails, and viral trends

  • Ability to generate consistent, high-quality content ideas backed by performance data and insights

  • Excellent organisational skills with experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and workflows simultaneously

  • Experience working with production tools such as Google Drive, Monday.com, or similar tracking systems

  • Strong script review and storytelling instincts, with an eye for pacing, clarity, and audience engagement

  • Confident communicator who can effectively liaise across creative, production, and talent teams

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges in a fast-paced environment

  • Data-driven mindset with experience analysing video performance and translating insights into actionable improvements

  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on personal development, time tracking, and maintaining accountability to team goals

This is an amazing role working on two of our most highly watched channels that has enjoyed a strong history of growth, and we're ready to take it to the next level.
