Produce Supervisor

PAK'nSAVE Rolleston | Full Time

We're looking for motivated and enthusiastic Produce Supervisors to join our busy Produce team at PAK'nSAVE Rolleston.

These are fantastic opportunities for individuals with strong Produce experience who are passionate about quality, freshness, and presentation. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the department and helping lead the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

We currently have two full-time Produce Supervisor opportunities available. These roles may involve a combination of day and evening shifts, with some shifts finishing as late as 9.00pm. Final days and hours will be discussed with the successful applicants.

What the role involves:

• Leading and supporting the Produce team to achieve high daily standards
• Ensuring products meet our expectations for quality, freshness and presentation
• Monitoring product quality and promptly removing stock that does not meet our standards
• Overseeing stock rotation to maintain freshness and minimise waste
• Maintaining full, attractive, and well-merchandised displays
• Coordinating workloads and ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised department
• Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers where required

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working in a supermarket Produce department
• Previous leadership or team-leading experience would be advantageous
• A strong understanding of produce quality, freshness, stock rotation, and presentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, hands-on approach and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and working on your feet
• Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards
• Availability to work one weekend day
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including daytime and evening hours
