Riverbend Co-op is a dynamic retail co-operative serving multiple commodities across 13 communities. Ranked as the 75th largest company in Saskatchewan, we proudly serve the Central Saskatchewan communities of Beechy, Davidson, Kenaston, Hanley, Tullis, Lucky Lake, Young, Strongfield, Simpson, Broderick, Outlook, Wiseton, Nokomis, and Lanigan.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Produce Manager, the responsibilities for the Produce Clerk include the following:

  • Providing Legendary Customer Service by assisting guests with product selection, offering produce knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

  • Demonstrating a willingness to learn about produce varieties, handling techniques, and seasonal items

  • Receiving and rotating fresh produce to maintain quality, freshness, and presentation standards

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe produce department through regular housekeeping and sanitation

  • Operating the Point of Sale (POS) terminal as needed for quick and accurate transactions

  • Prioritizing safety by following proper lifting techniques, using equipment correctly, and adhering to store policies
