Produce Assistant Manager – Full-Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with an efficient work ethic and proven leadership experience to join and help to lead our busy produce team while supporting our Produce Manager as the Produce Assistant Manager.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Thursday 5:00am – 9:00am
  • Sunday 6:30am – 4:00pm

40 hours per week total

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Produce Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Produce department.
  • Working with the Produce Manager Supervisor to lead the Produce team including providing feedback, coaching, and training.
  • Ordering stock, loading promotions and setting up new products.
  • Rostering.
  • Stocking shelves with precision, including rotation of items.
  • Maintaining a spotless and organised workspace, including the storeroom.
  • Adhering to our food safety and workplace safety program.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but full training can be provided to the right person.
