Produce Assistant – Full-time

Are you looking for a hands-on, busy and varied full-time position with opportunities to grow and learn?

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Produce team in permanent position working 40 hours per week.

The days and hours for this position are:

Sunday to Thursday 12:30pm-9pm

This is a full-time position as one of the key people in the Produce department, working alongside our Produce leadership team, you will help shape the department operations. Our Produce department is a cornerstone of our Fresh Foods Court, known for top-quality produce, expert product knowledge, and friendly service. We pride ourselves on delivering a unique experience that keeps customers coming back.

Your day to day:

• Helping to look after the operations of the Produce department
• Helping and assisting customers on the shop floor – making sure they have an amazing shopping experience with us!
• Filling produce neatly and efficiently while also checking the quality of the produce as you go
• Presenting produce so it is accessible and looks great
• Completing cleaning tasks as required
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management
• Adhering to all food safety and health and safety standards

What we need from you:

• Excellent customer service and communication
• A great work ethic - hard work and hustle is a requirement for this role!
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills and processes
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good physical fitness for moving stock around and the ability to lift up to 20kg
• Great presentation skills and high attention to detail
