We are currently seeking an energetic & high performing Procurement Team Lead to join our close-knit team, located at our Broadmeadow Facility.


About Your Role:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager – Operations & Maintenance you will:

  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exemplary safety practices, behavior, commitment, and attitude
  • Team Development: Participate in the development and implementation of functional team KPIs
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead process re-engineering and SOP implementation within the department, ensuring compliance with business and group policies and procedures
  • Mentorship: Mentor, guide, and support the Procurement Team in their daily activities and professional development
  • Order Verification: Verify and validate purchase orders in line with the business delegation of authority matrix
  • Order Management: Lead supplier order management, including expediting/rescheduling, tracking DIFOT performance, and conducting supplier audits.


About You:

To be considered for the role you have a background inprocurement leadership, excellent team management skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will be adept at process re-engineering, supplier management, and compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) policies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong background in developing and implementing KPIs
  • Experience with driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to re-engineer processes and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Strong skills in verifying and validating purchase orders
  • Proficient in supplier management, including expediting/rescheduling, managing DIFOT performance, and conducting audits


Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS or equivalent)
