The Procurement Sustainability Specialist will coordinate the end-to-end execution and project management of key sustainable procurement programs, enabling the transition from a centrally managed model to a scalable, structured and performance-driven global setup.

The role will own operational delivery across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistent execution, data integrity and target achievement across Solenis’ sustainable procurement agenda. This position requires strong program management capabilities, the ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders globally (e.g. Procurement, Sustainability, Regulatory, Legal, R&D), and a solid understanding of supply chain ESG topics, regulatory requirements and data-driven performance management

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple sustainability procurement projects (e.g. EcoVadis, CDP, S&P, Sustainability Report), ensuring timelines, risks and dependencies are controlled and delivery is consistent across regions
  • Implement scalable processes, governance and tracking tools
  • Own key operational streams:
  • Procurement sustainability KPIs and performance tracking
  • Supplier Diversity programme
  • Define targets, monitor progress and drive corrective actions
  • Support ESG risk and due diligence processes
  • Manage compliance programmes (Conflict Minerals, EUDR, CBAM, PPWR, PFAS)
  • Develop KPI dashboards and tracking tools (Power BI, Tableau, Coupa)
  • Coordinate supplier data collection, validation and reporting (e.g. carbon footprint, ESG metrics)
  • Embed sustainability into procurement policies, tools and decision frameworks
  • Drive integration of ESG criteria into sourcing (e.g. Coupa CSO scoring)
  • Act as interface between Procurement, Sustainability, Legal and Compliance
  • Engage suppliers and stakeholders to drive adoption
  • Provide structured updates to senior management

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong project/program management in complex environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with clear focus
  • Knowledge of supply chain sustainability, ESG frameworks and regulations
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in supplier engagement and process implementation
  • Advanced skills: SAP, Coupa, Excel, Power BI, Tableau
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Structured, detail-oriented, execution-focused
  • Fluent in English

Profile

  • 3+ years’ experience in international project management/procurement roles
  • Chemical degree is a plus
  • Strong commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement
  • High ownership, accountability and autonomy
  • Comfortable in dynamic environments
  • Strong collaboration and professional integrity
  • Office presence required 3 days
