Job Description

Strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and always two steps ahead?

As a Procurement Support Officer, you are an administrative driving force at the Oosterweel Link in Antwerp, one of Belgium’s largest infrastructure projects. From purchase orders and supplies to files and document management, you make sure everything is accurate, processed on time, and running smoothly.

You thrive on structure but know how to adapt when the day does not go quite as planned. It is exactly this combination that makes you a valuable part of our team.

Who are we?

Cordeel is a family-owned company with big ambitions. We don’t just build infrastructure and buildings — we keep pushing for smarter, faster and more sustainable ways to build.

For this project, we’re part of ROCO, the consortium delivering the Right Bank section of the Oosterweel Link for Lantis. Together, we’re building major structures including the Canal Tunnels and the new, lowered Antwerp Ring Road.

Exceptional technical complexity. A visible impact on Antwerp. And your chance to leave your mark.

What will you do?

No two days are exactly the same. You support our Purchasing Department and ensure that your colleagues can rely on accurate and efficient administrative follow-up.

Your challenge:

  • Prepare purchase orders for goods and services and follow them up closely.
  • Prepare documents for costs to be recharged to our partners.
  • Manage and follow up on orders for office supplies and consumables.
  • Initiate administrative procedures on time and ensure they are correctly implemented and followed up.
  • Prepare files, gather the necessary information, and independently follow them through to completion.
  • Make sure documents get where they need to go, from sending and distributing them to filing and archiving.
  • Manage calendars and, where necessary, take care of the department’s shared mailbox.
  • Provide administrative support to managers, buyers, and project managers.
  • Look beyond your own responsibilities and actively contribute ideas on how we can make our processes smarter and more efficient.

In short: you create structure, keep an eye on the details, and make sure our purchasing administration runs like clockwork.

Who are you?

You are someone who likes to take ownership and keep things under control. A busy schedule or several deadlines at once? You know how to set priorities, maintain an overview, and make sure things get done.

You have:

  • at least a secondary school diploma.
  • strong planning and organisational skills.
  • excellent communication skills, you communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, partners, and suppliers.

You are:

  • proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital tools.
  • flexible and can easily adapt when priorities change.
  • results-driven and take pride in ensuring that administration is accurate and complete.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary package. We offer a full-time, indefinite position with an attractive and competitive salary package complemented by a wide range of additional benefits, including a laptop with professional software, mobile phone, Benefits@Work, and more.
  • C-Academy. At Cordeel Group, we invest in your personal and professional development. Together, we create a development plan that gives you the opportunity to strengthen your talents, develop new skills, and grow with us.
  • Speed. Cordeel Group brings together smart, fast-moving, and passionate professionals committed to our ambition: “Transforming the future as the fastest builder by focusing on innovation to create smart, energy-efficient and low-carbon solutions.” As part of our team, you know how to multitask, set priorities, and get things done efficiently and effectively.
  • No micromanagement. At Cordeel Group, you take ownership of your work. From day one, you are a valued member of the team, and we trust you to take responsibility for your tasks. Support and guidance are always available when you need them, while giving you the freedom and opportunities to make a real impact.
  • Unique growth opportunities. Cordeel Group is a leading group of more than 50 companies. We offer a stimulating and challenging environment where you can grow both within your department and across the wider organisation. Whenever new opportunities arise, we actively encourage our internal talent to take the next step in their career.
  • Innovation. At Cordeel Group, sustainability is not a trend – it is an integral part of how we do business. We are actively committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our operations and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, turning our sustainability ambitions into tangible action.

About Cordeel Group

Cordeel Group is an independent family-owned business with 1,600 employees and an annual turnover of 800 million euros. With roots in Belgium, we have grown to become a major European player in the construction industry, and now oversee a number of companies, alliances and joint ventures. Cordeel Group is much more than a construction company. It is the one-stop partner for the complete construction process. The companies that operate under the Cordeel Group banner are each highly specialised in their own field. We work together or independently to create sustainable, future-proof solutions for our clients’ complex requirements. From this broad expertise, we take care of the complete construction process from design and technical support to completion and maintenance.

Sustainable business is not a fashion trend for Cordeel, but a way of doing business. Our mission therefore reads as follows: "Transforming the future as the fastest builder by focussing on innovation to create smart, energy-efficient, and low-carbon solutions". We are actively committed to becoming a leading example in the construction world and to encourage other companies to build a more sustainable world.

Cordeel Temse took the first steps in this direction in 2012 by obtaining certification under the ISO 14001 management system. Almost a decade later, we continue to be actively committed to lowering the CO2 emissions of our activities, and endorse the UN development goals to implement sustainability in practice.
