About the role

The Procurement Strategy & Planning Lead, Associate Director partners with the Head of Strategy & Performance and Chief Procurement Officer to translate Global Procurement’s strategy into an integrated roadmap and executable annual plan.

This role leads strategic planning cycles, manages the function’s integrated portfolio, and establishes effective governance, reporting and execution routines. The position provides senior leadership with clear visibility of milestones, dependencies, risks, resource requirements, decisions and expected outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead annual and rolling strategic planning processes for Global Procurement.
  • Translate functional strategy into integrated roadmaps, priorities, initiatives and execution plans
  • Manage portfolio-level milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions and decisions.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials, recommendations and strategic updates.
  • Coordinate governance forums, planning meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Facilitate alignment across Procurement teams and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting and portfolio management through digital tools and automation.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA in business, strategy, finance, operations, supply chain or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, transformation, portfolio management, operations or consulting.
  • Experience designing and implementing annual planning processes.
  • Strong project management, analytical, communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in a complex global environment; Procurement or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent certification required.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and project management platforms.

Occasional, limited business travel may be required.

Base Salary Range:

zł272,200.00 - zł374,330.00
