The Global Procurement Sr Analyst role provides an opportunity to support the execution of fleet sourcing strategies across fleet parts and fleet services within a large, complex operating environment. The position partners closely with Fleet Centers of Excellence, sector procurement leaders, and operational stakeholders to help translate category strategies into measurable cost, service, and reliability outcomes.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on executing sourcing initiatives, managing supplier performance, and delivering productivity within assigned scope, while gaining exposure to global fleet operations, supplier ecosystems, and cross‑functional collaboration. The individual will contribute analytics, market insights, and recommendations that support sourcing decisions, contract execution, and continuous improvement efforts across parts and services categories.

This position is ideal for a procurement or supply chain professional looking to deepen fleet category expertise, expand commercial and negotiation skills, and build upon experience managing suppliers and sourcing initiatives that directly impact fleet cost and operational efficiencies.

Category Execution & Support

  • Support the execution of fleet sourcing strategies within assigned categories in partnership with Fleet COEs, sector procurement leads, and operations teams. Provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to support cost, service, and operational improvements.

Sourcing & Contracting

  • Execute defined sourcing events, negotiations, and contract implementations. Partner with procurement and operations stakeholders to ensure contracts are aligned with business requirements and approved strategies.

Supplier Management & Performance

  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships. Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, identify issues, and support corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives related to cost, service, and quality. Support supplier engagement activities.

Supply Assurance & Risk Support

  • Support supply assurance activities by monitoring availability, identifying emerging risks, and escalating potential issues. Assist in the development and execution of mitigation actions to reduce service or supply disruptions.

Productivity & Value Delivery

  • Deliver assigned productivity targets through execution of sourcing initiatives, contract compliance, and cost reduction actions. Support multi‑year productivity pipelines and identify opportunities to improve total cost of ownership and cash flow within scope.

AOP Support & Tracking

  • Support category Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments by tracking performance versus plan, preparing basic variance analysis, and flagging risks or gaps to category or sector leads.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure sourcing activities align with fleet operational requirements, service expectations, and established sourcing strategies.

Industry & Market Awareness

  • Stay informed on market conditions and category trends relevant to scope. Share relevant observations and data to support sourcing decisions and risk awareness.

Process Discipline & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow standard sourcing processes, tools, and governance models. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and execution within day‑to‑day category activities.

Professional Skills & Influence

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Clearly communicate status, issues, and recommendations to peers and managers, escalating risks and decisions as appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain–related roles
  • Working knowledge of fleet operations and supporting supply chain processes preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, execution‑driven environment
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support initiatives, resolve issues, and deliver results within a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence peers and stakeholders through data, collaboration, and strong execution, within defined decision frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present analyses, recommendations, and status updates to managers and stakeholders
  • Solid skills in analytics, sourcing execution, contract management, and negotiations
  • Commercially oriented with the ability to support and execute sourcing initiatives of moderate complexity within established strategies
  • Experience applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concepts to evaluate sourcing and supplier options and support cost, service, and operational trade‑off decisions
  • Ability to develop data‑backed recommendations and support decision‑making, including influencing outcomes without direct authority when required
  • Travel 10%
