Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding, communicating, and implementing sourcing strategies at the local market level. This includes managing new or changing items/services, overseeing the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) channel, and engaging with new suppliers. You will gather data and business requirements, conveying local needs to Local Business Partners, Local Sourcing teams, and Above Market Category teams to set appropriate actions and strategies. The role is accountable for the management of locally managed spend categories, driving end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, and contributing to Procurement Performance Acceleration through continuous value creation and performance improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure that suppliers deliver service / material at agreed service level and time
  • Follow orders through the whole procure to pay process/ resolve related operational issues
  • Support selecting vendors (approved by Strategic Category Buyers) and follow up on performance
  • Invoice queries
  • Monitor and analyse resolution time to make action plan for improvement
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, correctness of Master Data in SAP
  • Improve purchasing process continuously
  • Follow Nestle procurement policy and local purchasing procedures
  • Ensuring that proper documentation of the process is kept (offers, orders, vendor correspondence, contracts etc.)
  • Budgeting and regular prices update
  • Supporting Business/factory initiatives
  • Supporting global and local procurement projects and initiatives
  • Claims resolution

What will make you successful?

  • Ideally, you are a proactive person with strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking who has Project Management experience and university degree in relevant field.
  • You are advanced communicator and negotiator able to deliver results through others and influence with integrity.
  • You have excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken. You are advanced user of MS Office package and SAP
