Hypertec is seeking a Procurement Specialist (MEP) to join our Construction & Project Delivery team in Taiwan If you are motivated, collaborative, and aligned with our values, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Contributing:

• Source and procure MEP materials, components, and equipment for construction projects.
• Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
• Collaborate with Commodity Managers to support the implementation of the global MEP supply strategy.
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers to improve visibility and responsiveness.
• Resolve supply bottlenecks by coordinating with suppliers on production, logistics, and documentation issues.
• Participate in supplier reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Issue purchase orders (POs) accurately and in alignment with demand forecasts and project requirements.
• Review order acknowledgments for accuracy and ensure suppliers commit to contractual delivery dates.
• Maintain up‑to‑date PO status within the Operations/MRP system
• Track supplier manufacturing progress against committed delivery schedules.
• Conduct regular follow‑ups with suppliers to verify production milestones, capacity constraints, and shipment readiness.
• Identify risks such as capacity shortages, material delays, or quality holds that could impact delivery.
• Ensure all materials and components arrive on time, in full, and meet technical requirements.
• Escalate delays promptly and work with suppliers to establish recovery plans or expedite critical items.
• Communicate delivery risks and status updates to internal stakeholders including Procurement, Project Management and Operations.

What Sets You Apart:

• Fluently bilingual (English, Taiwanese)
• Strong technical background (Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, is preferred).
• Minimum of 3-years of experience in sourcing, preferably in construction or EPC environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced project environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning, purchasing, and supplier production workflows.
