Your mission

At Hiab, exceptional operations start with empowered people and dynamic processes. As our Business Center in Sofia scales new heights, we are looking for a proactive Procurement Specialist (Late Shift 15:00 - 00:00) to drive operational excellence within our expanding team.

In this key role, you will power the Source-to-Receipt (STR) ecosystem—streamlining transactional procurement, unlocking value across corporate strategies, and keeping supplier relationships strong. Working alongside global cross-functional teams, you won’t just manage the daily operational flow; you’ll champion continuous improvement initiatives, generate smart automation ideas, and help shape the future of our workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Procurement Operations: Process and validate Purchase Requisitions, manage Purchase Orders (POs), oversee ETA management, and handle document changes, cancellations, and goods returns.
• Supplier & Sourcing: Manage sourcing events and support supplier negotiations and contract approvals.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve blocked invoices and credit notes related to price and quantity differences, and lead operational disputes with suppliers.
• Process Enhancement: Identify continuous improvement opportunities, suggest workflow enhancements, generate RPA ideas, and support the Team Leader and Process Owner in implementing global policies and technologies.
• Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Train and support new or less experienced team members and end-users. Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Invoice-to-Pay (ITP), Vendor Master Data (VMD), and Corporate INP teams.
• Reporting & Projects: Perform operational reporting, analyze purchasing data, and participate in process transitions, knowledge transfer, and work shadowing.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with global company guidelines, code of conduct, and internal controls, while actively maintaining health and safety standards.

What we are looking for

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in transactional procurement tasks and processes within a support role.
• Process Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Requisition-to-Receipt lifecycle. Knowledge of Vendor Master Data (VMD) and Invoice-to-Pay (ITP) is considered a distinct plus.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience working with procurement solutions (preferably SAP and Ivalua), procurement analytics tools, and Google Office tools.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service orientation, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
• Shift Alignment: Full availability to work the designated Late Shift (15:00 - 00:00).
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English with strong interpersonal communication skills.
