Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team in Taguig, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from sourcing and vendor selection through to purchase order fulfillment. You will play a critical role in ensuring our organization obtains quality goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships and adhering to compliance standards.

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
• Analyze spending patterns and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
• Maintain organized records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor information in compliance with company policies
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to ensure adequate stock availability
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues or discrepancies
• Prepare procurement reports and documentation for management review and audit purposes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and requirements
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and supply chain management principles
• Proficiency in negotiation and vendor relationship management
• Excellent analytical and cost management skills with the ability to identify savings opportunities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) or procurement software platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Preferred: Experience with contract management and supply chain optimization initiatives
• Preferred: Familiarity with procurement compliance and regulatory requirements
