Job Identification

We are looking for Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Bangladesh

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting supplier research, obtaining quotes, providing samples, creating orders in SAP, and performing purchases for designated spend category. Organizing, tracking and controlling the execution of purchasing process in coordination with other departments.
  • Preparing reliable and sustainable cost-saving projects, examining and submitting to the agreements related to locally agreed price issues, active participation in central contracting processes.
  • Ensure approvals and contracts for all High risk/High Spend concluded negotiation done at Country or Group level within managed portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant business policies and SOP
  • Create preferred supplier lists for all categories managed considering spend, relation tenure & pricing trend
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to drive key strategies and decisions for the category group
  • Monitor industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit CCI
  • Follow market trends for the raw materials of the procured items to recommend pre-buy or hedging options
  • Identify and develop alternative suppliers in line with group procurement strategy, create contingency plans. Work with BU post Group team approvals to ensure smooth induction
  • Make sure suppliers are aligned with Coca-Cola/CCI sustainability targets and are SGP approved where applicable
  • Ensuring all procurement activities to meet within CCI policies and audit expectations
  • Maintain good utilization for eProcurement tools made available by CCI
  • Create monthly procurement reports in line with Group and supply chain expectations
  • To follow the closure of the POs created, to engage in the solution of invoice/payment problems with the supplier, to provide information cycle to the central procurement for the solution of the problem on the issues that are centrally agreed
  • In line with the needs, developing/sourcing alternatives constantly to bring new local/global suppliers into the system, to engage in problems with suppliers such as quality, delivery etc. to take an active role in the solution of the problem. Evaluate supplier performances and arrange periodically supplier site visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Understand and effectively deploy a robust negotiation plan with tactics that best suited the situation
  • Understanding of the procure to pay process
