Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement / Sourcing Consultant to provide temporary support for strategic procurement initiatives. This is a fast-paced, short-term engagement requiring an independent, results-oriented professional who can manage multiple sourcing and vendor management activities from inception to close.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Manage and administer RFP processes end-to-end, from initiation through vendor selection and award
• Conduct comprehensive vendor evaluations and due diligence to support sourcing and selection decisions
• Lead and support contract and commercial negotiations with vendors to achieve favorable terms and outcomes
• Negotiate, establish, and manage SLAs and vendor performance terms throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Support procurement across multiple categories, including HR services, IT services/software, and Shared Services initiatives
• Manage stakeholder communications and alignment across internal teams to ensure seamless procurement execution
• Work independently and efficiently to drive procurement initiatives forward in a compressed timeframe

Requirements

• 6–10 years of hands-on procurement, sourcing, and vendor management experience
• Demonstrated expertise in RFP processes, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation
• Strong background in SLA management and vendor relationship administration
• Experience with HR procurement, IT services/software procurement, or Shared Services procurement (or equivalent category sourcing)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence across business functions
• Self-directed work style with proven ability to prioritize and execute efficiently in a high-pressure environment
