The Opportunity

You will be a part of the GIS LCC Secondary team and support the execution of LCC engineering. Your work involves mainly creating electrical circuit diagrams and supporting documents. We use the E3 tool for generating the schematics. You will be an individual contributor who would deliver the tasks as per the given inputs and when required need to work in coordination with other colleagues and should exhibit good collaborative skills to complete the task. In the absence of your Lead or in some cases, you will be required to interact with our counterparts to get/clarify queries. You may also interact with other departments like Primary, Project Management, and Production.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Coordinating with other departments such as R&D, design & operation for day to day follow ups on project/development activities.
  • Proactively track the status project for long-lead items, providing "Early Warning" alerts for potential delays and implementing mitigation strategies to protect project timelines
  • As per business demand, manage the RFP process.
  • Follow up & prepare summary of RFP/RFQ along with cost comparison for new inquiries.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Monitoring and adjusting supply chain activities to meet changing market conditions,
  • new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies .
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to resolve shortages, rejections, and material non-conformances (NCR).
  • Should have knowledge of PPAP /part qualification process for developments.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • 4–6 years of proven experience in technical procurement or purchase engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and technical data sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA) and proficiency in MS office.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical problem-solving, and professional communication skills for managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
