About the role

Our Procurement & Purchasing department is expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Procurement & Purchasing Officer

The role's main accountabilities will be the following:

• Manage procurement activities for Indirect Categories, and communicate with suppliers.

• Prepare and issue purchase requests and purchase orders based on the needs of internal departments (Operations, Planning, Production, R&D, Quality).

• Prepare RFIs/RFQs, execute tenders, and evaluate supplier offers.

• Monitor orders and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

• Manage delivery-related issues and update information in SAP.

• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

• Review invoices and verify the accuracy of delivered goods and services.

• Support supplier negotiations for selected purchasing categories.

• Update price lists and prepare reports/KPIs in line with procurement procedures.

• Manage contract information and monitor contract renewals and expiration dates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience with ARIBA or similar procurement platforms, as well as e-auctions and RFQs, will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of organization, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
