The role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Process Lead to drive procurement excellence, vendor governance, and process optimization across a growing telecommunications infrastructure organization This role will lead supplier management initiatives, strengthen procurement controls, improve operational efficiency, and oversee procurement systems and vendor performance frameworks to support business objectives

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, accreditation, and governance initiatives to ensure alignment with company standards and procurement objectives.
  • Develop and implement vendor onboarding, accreditation, and performance management programs to enhance supplier quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain vendor evaluation frameworks, scorecards, and performance benchmarks to support strategic supplier management.
  • Manage and maintain a centralized vendor database, ensuring supplier records, contracts, certifications, and supporting documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives related to vendor management, procurement operations, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish and maintain standardized procurement categories and sourcing frameworks.
  • Oversee vendor contract management activities, ensuring agreements remain current, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Monitor procurement activities within ERP systems, including purchase order governance, record accuracy, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead initiatives to review, reconcile, and close outdated purchase orders while improving procurement data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage and optimize procurement systems, ensuring effective utilization of ERP and procurement platforms.
  • Develop procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making, cost optimization, and operational improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement efficiency, compliance, supplier performance, and process standardization.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of procurement and vendor management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial capacity
  • Strong experience in supplier governance, vendor management, procurement operations, and process improvement.
  • Experience within telecommunications infrastructure, construction, engineering, energy, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of telecom infrastructure procurement, including towers, power systems, and related network deployment requirements, is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of bid evaluation methodologies, procurement governance, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
