Non Trade Procurement Activity

The mission of Non-Trade Procurement Team is to provide purchasing services to its internal stakeholders for the achievement of CEVA global targets. As such Procurement Organization manage suppliers and lead the sourcing, selection and negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers on behalf of CEVA.

While a key objective remains to identify opportunities for cost and cash optimization. Procurement Team is also responsible to uphold CEVA compliance standards, as well as to maximize the interests of the company in any commercial commitments taken with suppliers.

The mission of the Non-Trade Procurement organization covers at Country level all purchases considered as Non-Trade purchases as presented here-below. Purchases activities are managed by category.

Lead Buyer

The lead buyer's mission is to negotiate and manage Non-Trade purchases for CEVA at Country level. The lead buyer is primarily accountable for managing categories of purchased items (operations, Facility Management, …) and achieving the budget and key performance indicators for the categories under her/his own responsibility.

  • He/She is responsible for the identification of the needs manageable at global level in close cooperation with the internal stakeholders.
  • He/She is in charge of the sourcing, selection and negotiation with suppliers at global level.

The lead buyer supports to the definition of global processes and animates and manages global processes on its perimeter. The lead buyer also manages the rollout of global agreements and ensure countries adherence to global deals negotiated. Lead buyer actively federates country purchasing team to spreading the purchasing culture within the group.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Under the supervision of the Non-Trade Procurement Manager, the lead buyer will be mainly in charge to:

  • Define category strategies at Local level in line with CEVA strategy
  • Lead implementation of Local Procurement strategies through CEVA.
  • Foster the cooperation between Central and Local, and ensure adherence to Global strategies
  • Conduct needs analysis on his/her own perimeter
  • Conduct supplier sourcing and market intelligence
  • Act as prime interface of internal stakeholders as well as purchasing country to understand needs and communicate about deals negotiated

Manage tendering process, supplier selection and contract negotiation for global panel in line with the costs and performance objectives.
