The role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to support the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management requirements of a growing telecommunications infrastructure business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary to support operational and project objectives

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations, purchase order processing, and contract administration.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance standards.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or invoice-related issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the telecommunications industry
• Experience in telecommunications infrastructure procurement is strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
