Procurement Officer (Non-Drugs / Cosmetics Section)

We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and commercially driven Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and procurement activities for the Cosmetics and Non-Drugs category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor management, inventory planning, product sourcing, price negotiations, and ensuring the availability of high-quality cosmetic and non-pharmaceutical products across all outlets.

The successful candidate must possess strong negotiation skills, excellent market knowledge of cosmetics and beauty products, and the ability to maintain profitable supplier relationships while ensuring optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Source and procure cosmetic, skincare, beauty, personal care, and other non-drug products from approved vendors and suppliers.
• 
  Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
• 
  Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving products.
• 
  Conduct market surveys to identify trending beauty and cosmetic products relevant to customer demand.
• 
  Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, invoices, and purchase orders.
• 
  Ensure all procured products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• 
  Collaborate with sales and store teams to forecast stock requirements and product demand.
• 
  Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or damaged goods.
• 
  Prepare procurement reports, stock analysis, and cost-saving recommendations for management.
• 
  Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and operational procedures.
• 
  Monitor product pricing and competitor activities within the cosmetics and retail market.
• 
  Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and vendors.
• 
  Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure proper product receiving and documentation.
• 
  Support promotional campaigns by ensuring adequate stock availability for featured products.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• 
  Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in procurement, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, retail, or pharmacy sectors.
• 
  Strong knowledge of cosmetic and non-drug product categories.
• 
  Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• 
  Strong analytical and inventory management abilities.
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or pharmacy environment.
• 
  High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
• 
  Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations.

Preferred Skills

• 
  Experience working with cosmetic distributors and beauty product suppliers.
• 
  Knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP software.
• 
  Commercial awareness and ability to identify profitable product opportunities.
