Job Description

Our clint is looking for a Procurement Officer to purchase goods and services as per Material Requirement Planning or as delegated by the senior buyer, aligned to customer specifications, in the most efficient manner and with minimum risk

• Purchasing of goods and services;
• Maintenance of accurate and effective purchasing records;
• Ensure timeous receipt of goods (expediting);
• Market research;
• Negotiations;
• Ensure supplier conformance to RBCT HSE & B-BBEE requirements

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

• B. Tech Degree or National Diploma in Purchasing Management with 5 Years’ experience in a Maintenance environment
• B. Com Degree in Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
• Code EB (8) driver’s licence.

Skills

• Numeracy; Negotiating skills; Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
• SAP R3 (Materials Management); MS Office (Word & Excel) Microsoft Outlook.
