Your New Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operations, you will provide end-to-end procurement support across all programs within the organisation. This is a fast-paced, transactionally focused role, with involvement in sourcing activities including approach to market, negotiations, sourceselectionand supplier relationship management.

  • Source, negotiate and purchase materials and services in line with program requirements, including approach-to-market activities (RFQs), sourceselectionand contract award.

  • Raise,issueand manage Purchase Orders (POs) using the Leidos Procure-to-Pay system, and complete procurement reporting and reconciliations.

  • Conduct Purchasing Card (P-Card) procurementsin accordance withcompany policy.

  • Investigate and resolve invoicing queries and issues.

  • Manage supplier onboarding and due diligence requirements, develop andmaintainrelationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with legislation and Company policies,processesand instructions.

With your education and practical experience, you willdemonstratea proactive approach, with the ability to understand the business,identifyissues and build relationships to achieve Leidos’ objectives.

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience across the procurement lifecycle, including experience in a high-paced environment and, ideally, in a similar role within IT/Defence.

  • Experience using financial systems, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing demands, apply intermediate problem-solving skills, anddemonstrateintermediate planning and organisational capability with high attention todetail.

  • Strongskills and experience in relevant technologies, with a strong customer focus and an outcomes-focused approach.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment, remain self-motivated and self-directed,maintainhigh attention to detail, and build andmaintaineffective working relationships across all levels.
