  • Provide Buyer/Purchasing Procurement support to stakeholders whilst ensuring efficient processing of administrative processes
  • Fixed term position until June 2027: $75-90k base salary + salary packaging
  • Flexible Location - Melbourne preferrable

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Officer/Buyer who will provide support to Lifeblood teams by ensuring timely and efficient processing of administrative tasks including contract and purchasing administration, and liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The Buyer acts as a key contact between Lifeblood and its suppliers after contracts and service level agreements have been negotiated. The role also supports the operational departments that require goods and services to deliver the business. The role has a strong service focus on compliance, problem solving, reporting and continuous improvement.

  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process and what Procurement does; how buying decisions impact accounts Payable, receiving and finance teams
  • Strong capability in PO creation, requisitions, supplier maintenance and approval workflows with the Oracle platform
  • Strong grasp of catalogues, approval workflows, CPAs, and BPAs
  • Experience operating within in a high-volume transactional or helpdesk-style environment
  • Proven ability to resolve price updates, quantity discrepancies, delivery issues, and invoice mismatches
  • Supports category management by operationalising commercial commitments and keeping transactions flowing
