Procurement Multi-Family Manager

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join Phantom Works Supply Chain team in Saint Charles, Missouri

The Phantom Works Supply Chain team is chartered to support the development of new technology, products, and services. The team supports proprietary programs / projects for advanced weapons.

Position Responsibilities:

• Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
• Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools
• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:

To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
• More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management
• Experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 3 years of experience negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
• More than 3 years of experience establishing positive relationships and strong on-going communication with customers, stakeholders, peers, and suppliers
• Experience reporting status and recommendations to senior and executive leadership

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

pay range: $114,750 - $141,750
