Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for material sourcing, supplier performance, and cost optimization.
Conduct market research to identify and qualify potential suppliers.
Negotiate and secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
Develop and implement processes for cost reduction, rebate management, and cost-saving initiatives.
Lead and manage the procurement team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Monitor and analyze price variations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Review and evaluate supplier selection processes and criteria.
Manage and negotiate critical projects to ensure their successful completion within budget and timeline.
Oversee vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and cost-saving projects.
Review and approve all purchase orders (P/O) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and present monthly performance reports to the procurement Group Manager.
Monitor and track supplier delivery and quality performance against agreed-upon metrics.
Identify and implement strategies to improve supplier performance.
Develop and foster strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality, safety, and ethical standards.
Review and estimate the annual procurement budget.
Identify and propose opportunities for improvement within the procurement function.
Negotiate project contracts, including cost and payment terms.
Provide support to other departments as assigned, meeting their needs and requests efficiently.
Assess the training needs of procurement team members and recommend appropriate programs.
Requitements:
Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, purchasing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role, with demonstrated success in strategic planning, supplier management, and cost reduction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and procurement software.
Experience with VMI and cost-saving projects is a plus.
