Develop, implement, and execute materials strategies for the local site to ensure optimal sourcing of product to meet customers’ needs in the most cost-effective, high quality, and timely manner to insure optimum bottom line results in an honest, fair, and ethical manner.
Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10+ years in high volume assembly/manufacturing
• 5+ years leadership and management experience in international procurement, supply chain management, purchasing management
• APICS, CPIM certification preferred
• 4+ years working in a Lean manufacturing environment, utilizing Lean tools to drive improvements in materials and supply chain
• Ability to work within an ERP system to manage a supply chain, planning and execute production schedule to meet customer expectations.
• Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Thorough understanding of and ability to apply knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, import/export, inventory control and related accounting practices.
• Proven use of quantitative analysis to drive decisions
• Experience with ERP Planning modules preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to positively coach and motivate team members and resolve conflict
