Collins Aerospace is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager who will lead a procurement team throughour dynamic procurement processes, standards, and operational strategies. As a Procurement Manager, you willsetobjectivesand guide others on RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution. You willreviewsprices, manufacturing processes, and contracts and make recommendations for changes to ensure a successful procurement process.

What You Will Do: 

• Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution.

• Directs programs for effective vendor selection and management with a view tominimizepurchasingcosts without compromising quality or reliability of supply.

• Reviews changes in price trends and manufacturing processes andmakesrecommendations to ensure successful procurement process.

• Manages resolution of client issues or problems.

• Monitors and coordinates suppliers to schedule orexpeditedeliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

• Authorizes purchase orders, negotiatespricesand approves payments to support the procurement process in large territories.

• Reviews and assesses request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

• Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance withcontractual obligations and to helpdetermineneed for changes. 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience 

• Prior experience in supply chain, operations, procurement or related field. 

• Prior experience utilizing SAP 
• Advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in both spoken and written English.

Qualifications We Prefer:  

• Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations. 

• Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. 

• Experience with procurement lifecycle from quote to delivery. 

• Understanding of compliance regulations, import/export rules, and government procurement procedures. 

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting sectors.
