Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assists the MD in expanding the business and implementing strategic sourcing plans in Southeast Asia.
  • Product support and development, along with gathering design concepts for clients.
  • Analysing consumer data, preferences, and market conditions to suggest and create a variety of merchandise.
  • Prepare presentations on current products as well as new collections or developments working alongside the sales team
  • All kinds of merchandising issues with factories and customers
  • Support the business team by managing licensees for goods sales
  • Preparing quotations
  • Responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure timely delivery
  • Delivery Tracking
  • Help identify and evaluate local and international suppliers for all products
  • Relationship management between buyers and suppliers and negotiation of contracts
  • Achieving revenue targets for goods and services
  • Prepare report
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Team to identify business opportunities
  • Coordinate with the Creative Team to develop concepts and monitor the creative process to ensure the quality and timely delivery of merchandise
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality service by setting and upholding organizational standards.
  • Maintain budgetary control over all expenditures

Requirement

  • Min. degree holder with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement (supply chain management in the garment industry)
  • Ensure the delivery of superior service by establishing and maintaining organizational benchmarks.
  • Excel in problem-solving, demonstrates proactivity, possesses self-motivation, is highly organized, operates efficiently, and can perform well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and excel as a collaborative team member.
  • Exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin.
  • Possessing global or, at a minimum, regional experience that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the complexities, cultural nuances, contractual frameworks, local practices, and regulatory environment of the Asian market.
