As a Procurement Manager – Flexible and Paper-Based Packaging at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to define and implement category strategies that create value, strengthen supply resilience, and advance sustainable packaging across markets in Africa, Oceania, and Asia. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with category leaders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams across Nestlé businesses. How you’ll make an impact as a Procurement Manager – Flexible and Paper-Based Packaging

  • Leading flexible and paper-based packaging category strategies that deliver value, resilience, and continuity across regional and global markets.
  • Driving market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and risk assessment to support competitive sourcing decisions.
  • Building total cost ownership models that uncover improvement opportunities and support long-term value creation.
  • Negotiating global agreements and strengthening strategic supplier partnerships to enhance commercial performance.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Nestlé businesses to align priorities, unlock synergies, and deliver shared targets.
  • Contributing to sustainable packaging progress by embedding responsible sourcing and sustainability commitments into procurement decisions.

What will make you successful

  • Bringing strong category management knowledge in packaging materials, with exposure to flexible, paper-based, or corrugated packaging.
  • Applying strategic sourcing, supplier management, and responsible sourcing practices in regional or global environments.
  • Using market intelligence, negotiation, and risk management skills to influence decisions and strengthen business outcomes.
  • Collaborating confidently with diverse internal and external stakeholders across a complex global organization.
  • Communicating fluently in English; additional languages are valued.
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
  • Communicating fluently in English and Mandarin Chinese.
