We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with 8–15 years of experience to lead and optimize end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and procurement planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to drive procurement insights and operational efficiency.
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring timely availability of goods and services, maintaining quality standards, and achieving cost savings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, supply chain, and leadership to ensure seamless procurement processes and supplier performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support organizational goals and drive long-term value.
- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, including vendor identification, sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supplier consolidation without compromising quality or service.
- Analyze procurement data and spending patterns using Microsoft Excel to generate reports, dashboards, forecasts, and actionable insights.
- Monitor supplier performance through defined KPIs and conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service agreements, and contracts to maximize commercial benefits.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and audit-ready reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best procurement practices and automation opportunities.
- Mentor and guide procurement team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or professional procurement certification is an advantage.
- 8–15 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience handling large procurement portfolios across multiple categories and suppliers.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Must-Have Skills
- Procurement: Extensive expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, procurement planning, contract negotiations, purchasing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization.
- Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, advanced formulas, conditional formatting, data validation, dashboards, charts, and data analysis for procurement reporting and decision-making.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement platforms.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience driving procurement transformation and process automation initiatives.
