ABOUT THE JOB
The Procurement Manager for Logistics & Distribution willleadthe effort of implementing and managing the procurement strategy for the Region in alignment with the Global Procurement Strategy. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and execute category strategies to maximize value for the business. This includes developing long-term strategies, leading sourcing events, negotiating contractterms;leading supplier performancemanagement;andidentifyingcontinuous improvement and cost savings opportunities. Your goal is to become a trusted business partner who creates competitive advantage through strategy development, operational excellence, and driving improvements in total cost of ownership, service, quality, and sustainability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Leverageexpertisein the transportation (road, rail, ocean) warehousing, contract manufacturing, and 4PL markets, suppliers, and cost drivers to manage financial risk, ensure quality and service, and drive sustainabilityobjectives
•Utilizestrategic sourcingmethodologyto develop category strategies, source, negotiate contracts and manage suppliers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) models, ensure speed to market, value creation and risk mitigation.
• Responsible for savings, cash, supply security, and sustainability. Responsible for reporting andmaintainingthe informationintegrity with regards to Global Direct Savings Program tracker.
• Support of Global Category Leads and / or Regional Leads on RFP building, data analysis, market analysis, spend analysis, and global vendor consolidation in connection with business needs.
• Work closely with LAC Supply Chain, Global Logistics Procurement, Procurement Finance, LegalTeamand Suppliers toidentifycost reduction programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners across the various Transportation, Warehousing, and Co-Manufacturing services.
• Proactively works with suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement and technology whichultimately leadsto a competitive advantage for the company. Lead the process for monthly and/or quarterly business review with strategic vendors and key internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross functional teams through a sourcing and project management process to support supply management andoperations objectives
• Ensure key requirements such as Master Services Agreements, Award Letters or Outline Agreements in place.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, IndustrialEngineeringor related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Procurement with a focus on transportation, warehousing, and contract manufacturing sourcing, preferably in a multinational environment in a complex matrix structure.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish & English.

• Ability to be respectful,approachableandteam orientedwhile building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proventrack recordin development andgainingalignment to complex procurement strategies.
• Able to manage in a matrix environment and to effectively engage with critical stakeholders of same and other functions.
HARDSKILLS
• Experienced in contract negotiation, including development of negotiating plans and strategies, and executing.
• Master Services Agreements,required
• Ability todemonstrateproven results in delivering cost savings, cash, and service improvements,required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using transportation or business analytics software, preferred.
• Experience witheSourcingtools and SAP.
• Excellent PC skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
