Jobbeschreibung:

  • Leadership and Team Development: You lead and coach the Operational and Strategic Procurement Team.

  • Integrated Material Flow and Inventory Management: You plan and optimize material flows and inventory levels and ensure optimal supply reliability.

  • Supplier Management: You are responsible for the qualification of new suppliers, further development of existing suppliers, and conducting supplier negotiations together with the team.

  • Cost Efficiency and Process Optimization: You identify cost‑saving potentials and initiate projects to reduce complexity (e.g. make‑or‑buy decisions, outsourcing). You standardize processes and tools in line with corporate guidelines and further drive the digitalization of procurement processes in the SAP environment, as well as the standardization of contracts and the expansion of framework agreements.

  • Procurement Strategy: You define the procurement strategy together with relevant stakeholders, optimize sourcing concepts, and develop new, efficient standards to improve operational processes.

  • Market Analysis and Supply Chain Development: You evaluate international procurement markets, identify new suppliers, and build reliable supply chains. In addition, you analyze and optimize purchasing and supplier strategies.

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: You promote collaboration and interface management across departments and contribute to close internal alignment.

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering, ideally as an Industrial Engineer. Alternatively, you bring solid professional experience based on vocational training as an Industrial Clerk or a comparable technical qualification.

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in operational procurement, ideally also in strategic procurement, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering.

  • Proven experience in leading and developing large, partially decentralized teams, including indirect leadership.

  • Strong experience in working within complex matrix organizations.

  • Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and common procurement tools.
