Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to lead the identification, development, and implementation of procurement categories to enhance profitability, quality, and efficiency while providing strategic insights. Additionally, the role involves driving the Supplier Relationship Management framework, ensuring compliance, and supporting sustainable procurement practices across various spend categories and supply chain operations. Furthermore, the role entails coordination with the Procurement Operations team to deliver a compliant Procure to Pay system, support business stakeholders, drive service excellence, and continuously improve procurement processes and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of operational team plans to ensure key issues are considered.
  • Develop and deliver user training.
  • Provide accurate and regular reports to the business to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage and perform the sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, incorporating best practices and aligning with companies' strategies.
  • Review contractual and commercial ownership of sourcing agreements to ensure business case and benefit realisation.
  • Responsible for relationship management for assigned categories to maximise the mutual value of each relationship by optimising costs, reducing risk and harnessing innovation.
  • Develop understanding and work within the various procurement streams to ensure priorities are addressed appropriately.
  • Support management of supplier risk and compliance obligations, and support the further development of risk assessment tools and SRM tools and processes.
  • Align regional framework with Global SRM framework.

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

  • Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

  • Experience with P2P, procurement contracts and processes.
  • Administration background.
  • Procurement system experience.
  • P2P roll-out experience.
  • Negotiating vendor contracts experience.
  • Budget preparation and forecasting experience.
  • SRM and/or Procurement experience in service or financial-based organisations.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
