Job Description

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Procurement Intern who provides operational support to procurement activities by assisting with process execution, data management, reporting, and stakeholder communication. This role contributes to maintaining high service quality, process compliance, and operational efficiency while developing an understanding of procurement practices, business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of day-to-day procurement processes and support transactional activities in accordance with established procedures (such as processing PRs to POs, quote requests from suppliers, preparation for negotiation and follow-up activities in procurement systems)
• Support regular reporting activities, track operational metrics, and assist with data validation
• Maintain and update procurement-related data, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
• Support communication with internal stakeholders regarding procurement-related requests and process inquiries

This role will suit you if you have the following:

• 25 hours availability to work along your university studies
• Long term plans: we are looking for someone who stays with us for at least 12 months
• Confident English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach
• Accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Openness to learning new processes and systems
• Experience with digital and AI tools is an advantage
