Procurement engineering M&CC

Job Responsibilities:
•Leads complex and integral procurement projects, guiding them from inception to successful implementation, aligning them with Philips' organizational strategy across multiple business domains and external stakeholders and applies advanced understanding of entrepreneurial skills and supports the entrepreneurial environment and follows up on initiatives.
•Initiates, organizes, and implements procurement projects and programs, driving strategic impact and fostering efficiency in procurement processes, working under limited supervision.
•Identifies kaizen events and implements process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and streamline procurement operations, ensuring continuous enhancement of practices.
•Develops and maintains comprehensive project management plans, providing clear direction to project teams, and serving as the primary representative in project discussions and decision-making processes.
•Prepares and implements projects in multidisciplinary areas, meticulously adhering to specifications, timelines, and resource allocations to achieve project objectives effectively.
•Crafts compelling business cases for productivity enhancements, collaborating across functions to ensure alignment and garner support for proposed improvements.
•Manages the savings funnel, diligently tracking cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement expenditure in line with organizational goals.
•Supports the Product Sourcing Engineer in supplier engagement activities, facilitating early supplier involvement, selection processes, and cost tracking for assigned products.
•Handles procurement activities at suppliers, ensuring alignment with project requirements and overall procurement strategies, and managing related fields in the Sourcing Plan.
•Engages in and supports phase-in and phase-out planning for new product introductions and lifecycle management activities, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity in procurement operations.

Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Agile Methodology or equivalent.

Preferred Education:
Master Degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent.

Preferred Certification:
Philips PM Practitioner Certification

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
