proposals and ensure compliance with design and performance requirements;
Evaluate supplier technical capabilities, manufacturing processes, production
capacity, and quality systems for engineered components and assemblies;
Perform cost modeling, should-cost analysis, value analysis/value engineering
(VA/VE), and total cost of ownership evaluations to support sourcing and
procurement decisions; Conduct technical sourcing activities for fabricated parts,
mechanical components, electric and electrical components, thermal
components, and industrial assemblies; Collaborate with engineering,
manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to support product
development, manufacturability, and production readiness; Support new product
introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up activities to ensure supplier readiness
and alignment with manufacturing timelines; Support supplier qualification,
technical assessments, and supplier corrective action initiatives, including
structured product quality and development processes such as Advanced Product
Quality Planning (APQP) or similar methodologies; Analyze supply market
conditions, sourcing risks, lead times, and capacity constraints affecting
manufacturing programs; Develop data-driven sourcing analyses, cost
evaluations, and technical recommendations to support procurement strategies;
and Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement
engineering, supplier performance, and cost optimization. Required travel: Up to
