Procurement Engineer for Packaging and Tissue (based in Pune/ Gurgaon, India).

We are looking for “Procurement Engineer” to be based in Pune/ Gurgaon, India. This position reports to “Senior Manager, Packaging and Tissue Procurement Asia Pacific (Global Supply)”. In this position you will have an opportunity to Procure project required goods and services in accordance with the supply plans.
In this position, you will be required to:
Issue internal sales orders and purchase orders to external supplier partners.
Ensure execution of established supply plan according to project schedule and within project budget.
Administer purchase orders, monitoring budgets and invoicing; over EP Infor LN.
Keep stakeholders updated, by involving them and reporting supply plan status to project management. Maintain contact with procurement, projects, logistics, and finance departments both locally and internationally.
Expediting ongoing orders by visiting (or desk expediting) supplier works periodically, understanding and highlighting challenges and working towards problem-solving.
Organize transportation and issue necessary shipment documentation.
Meet Functional KPI’s such as On-time delivery, quality & cost competitiveness.
Communicate contracts/ frame agreements content with key stakeholders.
Monitor delivery statuses and ensure on time fulfillment with external warehouses and suppliers.
To succeed this role, you will need:
Bachelor/ Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
3 years of minimum experience in relevant field
Proactive mindset and knowledge and interest in reading and understanding drawings
Good communication skills, English language, written and spoken, is mandatory.
Willingness for travelling.
Earlier experience on WRP LN Infor is an advantage
